Flicking through this months issue of vogue, I was inspired by its "make do and mend" article. I didn't think it was possible to create clothes out of domestic household objects that were so couture. With items used such as rubber gloves, cotton wool balls and mops, the designs were so inventive and had such creativity that I couldn't help but examine every last detail. I especially liked the use of toilet rolls to create wedge heels.

The customising tips in the issue were also very inspiring and has encouraged me to become more creative with my clothes. Simple things such as adding ribbon and bows, changing buttons, creating rips and bleaching denim can all help turn old unwanted pieces of clothing into something entirely new and wearable, whilst also being a one of a kind piece.
